An Information Security Expert plans, coordinates, and maintains an organization’s information security. They are responsible for designing, developing and installing security and monitoring an organization’s network for security threats and attacks. The Information Security position will be accountable for educating employees on best practices and procedures for maintaining security on files and information.
Information Security Experts participate in security architecture reviews, provide security application and infrastructure solutions. They are also responsible for recommending new solutions to mitigate risks and assess security threats to the organization’s technology and information divisions.
This role will involve performing system and network health checks to identify high risk network segments, systems, and applications.

Information Security Job Description

The salary range for this job is $95,000 to $140,000. Compensation and benefits are competitive and based on background and work experience.
