Meet the Team

At Landover, since we all work as a team, it is extremely important that we all can work together in a symbiotic way. To make sure of this, we not only select those that we feel have the capability to produce great placement results; we also have to feel that their work style and personality will mesh with the team.

Michael is the President and Founder of Landover. In 1988, he decided that there was a need for a different approach to technical recruiting. The basis of this idea was to take salespeople out of the equation and replace them with service-oriented career professionals, who work as a team and earn salaries instead of commissions on placements.

Robin, Co-Founder and Manager of Recruiting, has been working in the industry for many years. It is pretty rare that she doesn’t know someone or how to get the impossible done. She enjoys building relationships with clients and candidates so that she can anticipate their needs and find solutions quickly and efficiently. If you need to understand the big picture, or how to reach people when they are unreachable, talk to Robin. She will tell you that even after helping people for many years she still finds it fun and rewarding.

Ada began her career in restaurant management, where she was schooled in the finer points of customer satisfaction and running a successful business. Now, with more than a decade at Landover matching tech people with great companies she continues her good work. Also, the last few years her coworkers have had the good fortune to share in her culinary talents, when she brings her Anthony Bourdain inspired cooking to the office. Let’s see what kind of match Ada can cook up for you!

Beth is an extremely self-motivated and resourceful information technology recruiter who spends every minute of the day working diligently to find the best match for her clients and candidates and is the North Star for all the other recruiters to look to for guidance, work ethic and how to get things done. Not only is she a North Star, she was just awarded the highest honor at Landover. She is now a Landover All Star. Besides receiving admiration and respect for this great honor, Beth also received a prize of a trip anywhere in the world for two.

Jeff is the tallest recruiter we have at Landover. He loves basketball and keeps the office on its toes as a prankster extraordinaire. He does, however, take his job as a recruiter very seriously. Jeff works many hours a day, searching the world for the best technical & quantitative candidates for our very selective clients.

Joe specializes in placing programmers from around the globe in small sought-after financial and software boutiques. His upbringing in the New England area always poses some very interesting discussions in the office when the NY teams are in hot contests against any New England team.

Lisa is a specialist in our small to middle market practice where she capitalizes on her solid market knowledge and pragmatic approach to recruiting. Lisa will makes sure candidates are equipped with the inside information they need to land a job. Our clients rely on Lisa for her market expertise to help close sought after candidates in the always competitive market for techs. Lisa is also a great resource to our more junior recruiters, making sure they have the training they need to perform their job successfully.

Lyndon is the best office manager Landover has ever had. He has a resounding, infectious laugh, which goes a long way in helping everyone at Landover get through the busy days. Lyndon’s positive and upbeat manner always makes our clients and candidates feel welcome and special when they call or stop by our offices. When it comes to birthdays many of us have been the lucky recipient of the best birthday cakes on this earth bar none, home baked in Lyndon’s kitchen.

Maria worked for another recruiting firm for many years supporting the day-to-day activities of other recruiters. We felt her background, intelligent approach to solving problems and her comforting way with people, would make her a great recruiter. We were right. In the short time that Maria has been with us she has already made her mark. Maria places tech people with some of the hottest startup tech firms in New York City.

Mark joined the Landover family in 2007 from previous roles in marketing & finance. Mark enjoys placing all levels of technologists with both finance and ecommerce firms. During the day we rely on Mark for his exceptional knowledgebase on all matters having to do with anything on earth. Each year, Mark is sought after by his fellow recruiters, as they hope to land him as part of their team at our annual holiday party trivia contest.
